Hours:
Basic of 36 hours per week with opportunity for overtime.

Responsibilities include:
- Machining parts from 1m to 5m in length.
- Following offline programming documents which include job set-up, tooling sheets & methods required for machining sequences.
- Changing tools/inserts & alter offsets to maintain parts to required engineering specifications.
- Downloading CNC programs and save proven files.
- Operating manual machining centers if/when applicable.
- Measure and inspect manufactured items to assure accuracy to the drawing and report any deficiencies to the inspector and your manager.
- Identify equipment maintenance and repair needs.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Produce work to the quality standard required whilst keeping waste to a minimum.
- Follow written instructions, safe working practices and to always maintain a safe and tidy work area.
- Help improve safety, quality and productivity through the continual improvement process.
Key Attributes:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience using multi-axis CNC milling machines.
- Ideally with experience of gantry style equipment with universal head Fanuc control.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.
- Have high levels of concentration and focus to achieve production targets and scheduled customer deadlines.
- Knowledge and experience of lifting using overhead cranes & setting/clamping of large parts up to 5 tonnes.
- Evidence of training in safe use of overhead cranes & forklift truck preferred.
