SUMMARY
Location:
Church, Accrington, BB5 4EF
Hours:
Basic of 36 hours per week, Mon-Thurs 6.00-15.30, with opportunity for overtime.

Responsibilities include:
- To program, set and operate CNC machinery using Fanuc control systems.
- To follow offline programming set up & Tooling sheets.
- To download CNC programs & save to proven folder once machined parts have been inspected.
- To operate Manual machining centers if applicable.
- Maintain an exemplary level of housekeeping.
- Keeping waste to a minimum.
- To read/understand and correctly interpret Engineering Drawings.
- Change tool inserts and re-set/alter offsets to achieve drawing specifications and tolerances.
- Have high levels of concentration and focus on achieving production targets and scheduled customer deadlines.
- Follow written instructions, safe working practices and always maintain a safe and tidy work area.
- Monitor your own Quality and Productivity with a continuous improvement mind set.
- To help and be proactive for the continual improvement of processes.
- Report any issues (i.e. quality/safety/machine) to your Line Manager/Supervisor.
- Always ensure cleanliness of equipment in work area.
Key Attributes:
- Must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience using CNC turning machines.
- Proficient using Fanuc controls.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.
- Have high levels of concentration and focus to achieve production targets and scheduled customer deadlines.
